entry 4 - I pray

Dear Diary,

Why is the world so obsessed with who is praying to whom? Aren’t we all praying for the same thing? Health. Our loved ones. Peace.

I don’t pray because I feel helpless or want answers; I pray because I believe in the power of it. For patience when I’m running low, for guidance when I’m losing faith.  Whether within church walls, temple halls, beneath mosque domes, or under the open sky, I pray. And If I'm blessed enough I’m the answered prayer for a stranger. To a new friend. So I pray. regardless of your religion, prayer is love. Prayer is hope. You speak it from the heart. It forces your eyes to focus on the invisible rather than what the eye can see.

So I pray.
